Working with your hands

Manual labor can’t be outsourced:

“You can’t hammer a nail over the Internet.” Nor can the Indians fix your car. Because they are in India.

This is a good article, but it’s preaching to the choir for me.
I’ve never thought of manual laborers- especially tradies – as lesser career paths than jobs at desks under flourescent lights. In fact, it’s fair to say that I look down my nose at those who look down their noses at tradespeople.
