A new study found that a significant minority – around a third- of the Australian population are against public breastfeeding. The group most opposed to it were 18 to 24 year olds.
Aren’t the young supposed to be cool, easy-going, and not hung up with old fashioned moralism? Not when it has something to do with families or breeding, I guess.
Father Andrew, commenting at Cathnews, has the answer to get these uptight young prudes on side:
Just tell them that it’s for climate change, it doesn’t produce the levels of carbon that bottled formula does.
A great idea! Before you know it, they’ll be campaigning to make it mandatory.
