I was watching Dave Letterman, and he said this:
“President Obama has celebrated his first 100 days in office. Do you know how Bush spent his first 100 days in office? Looking for the corner in the oval office!”
Yes, that’s right. He’s still making Bush jokes, even when the story is about Obama.
I must be missing something. What’s so wrong with telling the joke this way:
“Do you know how Obama spent his first 100 days in office? Looking for the corner in the oval office!”

Fair call, DD. Bush had his occasional stuff-ups but I doubt they came as thick and as often as they have in Obama’s first 100 days.
at what point does it become lame to make a Bush joke when you could have made an equally funny Obama joke? At what point to viewers go… can this guy move on already?
Hip, funny people do NOT make fun of other hip, funny people. It might mark them as UN hip, UN funny people…and in these folks minds, THAT is just. not. done.
What a maroon.
he’s black*

and disrespectful of the position he holds.
