It’s amazing what you can do with gimp. This picture should create the illusion of movement, although it’s not animated. You could print it onto a piece of paper and it will still look like it’s moving. It also creates the impression that there are spirals or swirls coming out from the centre of the picture, but there are no spirals. It’s made up entirely of straight lines and concentric circles.
